Seller Performance

The Performance Summary page provides statistics on your sales, returns, customer feedback, and A-to-z Guarantee Claims. You can use the Performance Summary page to view the following reports.

  1. Track your sales, refunds, feedback and A-to-z Guarantee claims
    View this data on a calendar month basis on the Performance Summary page. The most recent performance is tracked through the trailing 30 days and the current calendar month-to-date values. This page shows the number of orders, total value of orders, units sold, units refunded, refund rate, total ratings, negative ratings, negative feedback rate, and the number and value of A-to-z Guarantee claims granted.
  2. View refunds by category
    View the detailed breakdown by category of the number of units sold, the number of units refunded, and the refund rate.
  3. View feedback details
    Drill down to your existing feedback page to get details on the feedback received.
  4. View your A-to-z Guarantee claims data
    View the details of A-to-z Guarantee claims filed by your customers. Each claim shows the filing date, order associated with the claim, claim amount, reason for filing, status, and added comments. You can also track the lifetime, trailing 30-day and current month-to-date number and dollar amounts of claims.
  5. View your Chargebacks
    You can view chargebacks (refunds) made against your account. A chargeback is issued when cardholders contact their bank for an order placed on your website. .

In addition to providing you with consolidated sales data, the Performance Summary page provides information that enables you to measure your customers' satisfaction. Successful merchants consistently strive to keep their negative feedback rate and A-to-z Guarantee Claims low.

Explanation

Summary Data

The Performance Summary Report displays summary data for the previous 30 days, current calendar month, and twelve previous calendar months. The performance data is arranged in columns according to sales, returns, customer feedback, and A-to-z Guarantee claims.

Sales Data

The Sales column displays the total dollar value, number of orders, and units sold for each time period.

Refunds Data The Refunds column displays the total units returned and rate of return for each time period. Click View Details in the Refunds column to open the Refunds Summary Report and view the same data (along with units sold) arranged by product category.
Customer Feedback Data The Customer Feedback column displays the total ratings, total negative ratings, and negative feedback rate for each time period. Click View Details in the Customer Feedback column to open the Feedback Report and view the details on recent customer's feedback. You can also click the Reports link and then click Feedback to see this information.
A-to-z Guarantee Data The A-to-z Guarantee column displays the total value and number of granted claims. You can click View Details in the A-to-z Guarantee column to open the A-to-z Guarantee Report and view details on A-to-z Guarantee claims. The report contains the filing date, related order, claim amount, reason for filing, status, and comments. It also shows the number and dollar amount of filed claims for the current calendar month and past 30 days.
Chargeback Data The Chargebacks column displays information about customer chargebacks.

Viewing Your Performance Metrics

Open the Performance Summary page

  1. On the Reports link, click Seller Performance.
    The Seller Performance page appears.
