Generating a date range report

A date range report, which you can generate from the Payments page in Seller Central, is a custom report that allows you either to select a month to include in the report, or to choose specific start and end dates for the data included in the report.

Please be aware that the data included in the report contains information about all transactions that have cleared for transfer to your bank, and may include transactions that have not yet settled (in other words, transactions that are still open and have not cleared for disbursement during the time period covered by the report).

Whereas the daily report (found on the All Statements tab) includes activity that pertains to a single settlement that occurred on a given date, date range reports include activity that pertains to any settlement—closed or open—that has a date window included as a calendar date in the user-specified date range. For example, the image below shows the difference in data that would be appear in a daily report for Jan 1 – Jan 2, compared to a date range report for Jan 1 – Jan 2. The date range report row represents 3 separate groups of data:

  1. The activity that pertains to the Dec 31 – Jan 1 closed settlement with a date stamp of Jan 1
  2. All activity that pertains to the Jan 1 – Jan 2 closed settlement
  3. The activity that pertains to the Jan 2 – Jan 3 open settlement with a date stamp of Jan 2
