FAQ

Who is eligible for alternative payment methods (APMs)?

U.S. Merchants on CSPs that have Cv2 auto-enabled (BigCommerce, Prestashop), and CSPs that have Cv2 and EOT in their latest plug-ins (Magento, WooCommerce) are automatically eligible for APMs. Some merchants may have to turn on Estimated Order Total to receive auto-enabled APMs. Affirm requires a separate Terms of Service and rate agreement to be enabled.

Are there technical requirements?

Merchants must be confirmed to be on Amazon Pay’s Cv2 technology with Estimated Order Total enabled in order to access all APMs. For more information, checkout our Installment Payment Methods integration topic.

Do any APMs include additional fees?

Eligible merchants automatically receive auto-enabled APMs at no additional cost or technical lift. Amazon Pay with Affirm is also available as an opt-in payment method via Seller Central, with its own additional rates.

What kinds of APMs are available to shoppers?

Depending on credit card availability and cart eligibility, Amazon Pay will display several kinds of flexible financing and alternate payment options at checkout. Eligible cardholders will be able to select Equal Monthly Payments to pay for purchases monthly with promotional rates as low as 0%, or select pay-in-four when Amazon Pay with Affirm is enabled. When available, eligible cardholders will also be able to select Shop with Points to pay for all or part of a cart with their available credit rewards points.

How can I see what APMs are on my online store?

You can add or manage your APMs via Seller Central.
