Step 1. Add the Amazon Pay JavaScript reference

To render the Amazon Pay button, add the following reference to your webpage. The version of the snippet that you use depends on whether you are loading the webpage into your Sandbox environment or the Production environment.

Note: The Sandbox environment is an environment where you can test and modify your code before you push it to the live Production environment. As a best practice, you should always test your code before you release it to Production. For instructions on how to set up a test account, see Set up an Amazon Pay Sandbox test account. For information about using the Amazon Pay and Login with Amazon Pay Sandbox environment, see Test your integration in the Sandbox environment and then switch to Production.

For your Sandbox integration, use this code snippet:

<script async type='text/javascript'
    src='https://static-na.payments-amazon.com/OffAmazonPayments/us/sandbox/js/Widgets.js'>
</script>

For your live Production integration, use this code snippet:

<script async type='text/javascript'
    src='https://static-na.payments-amazon.com/OffAmazonPayments/us/js/Widgets.js'>
</script>
