Meet Heidi, Flora, and Martin, three members of the Amazon Pay team out of Munich who are helping drive innovation and supporting the needs of merchants in Germany.

As Martin Meinert, Customer Solution Provider Lead, describes his role, and the team's larger team mission, "My job is the perfect combination of communication with external stakeholders, helping develop strategies, and of course on-site projects. What excites me is that we are always encouraged to find new ideas."  

After receiving a Master's Degree in International Business in Scotland, Account and Business Development Manager, Flora Pauer, was looking for a role that offered truly global reach. She found exactly that, and more, at Amazon Pay. "Often [my job] involves jumping on the phone with the CEO of a well-known company or engaging with business professionals at trade fairs about the prospect of our companies working together," she said. "I get to travel a lot. I’m constantly meeting people. It’s the perfect combination of communication with external stakeholders, critical thinking and on-site projects." 

For Heidi Sanje, Merchant Services Manager, it's not just the international dimension of the work that's appealing. "I'm a mother of two children," she said, "so for me it's really important to be able to balance home and work life. What I really value is the flexible working hours and colleagues that go the extra mile to support me."
